Justrite Safety Group, a portfolio of 5 companies, is one of the largest manufacturers of construction safety equipment in North America. The company needed to rapidly digitize 5,000 SKUs while also developing a strategy for articulating the unique value of its products compared to do-it-yourself approaches. Storyhackers built a scalable operations strategy and blogging program that enabled the implementation of AI to provide relevant market education materials. We worked directly with the company’s in-house compliance expert to communicate the location-specific regulatory nuances of each individual SKU.

This Japanese company was navigating a market expansion into the United States. The company needed an online presence to explain the story behind its product. The company developed a product for a vulnerable demographic of people with disabilities. These individuals may have suddenly lost their mobility due to age, illness, or unexpected accident. The company was struggling to make sales due to pending medical device designation and a need to better empathize with their audience. Facing these constraints, Storyhackers developed a strategic narrative for the company to position its brand, in addition to companion website copy. Seven years later, the company is well-established in the United States market and continues to rely on the strategic brand narrative that Storyhackers developed.

CircleBlack has changed hands in ownership twice since 2020, following the passing of the company’s founder. The company’s integrity and reputation suffered during this time. In 2021, the company appointed a new CEO to shift the direction of the company, for the better. In the years since, CircleBlack has rapidly rebuilt its technology architecture to become the best solution in its market class. CircleBlack needed to move quickly and pace its market, with zero wiggle-room for error. Storyhackers developed a library of 60+ market education narratives to support demand generation and sales acceleration. We also built a system to democratize storytelling across executive leadership to help them become spokespeople for the product’s integrity. We implemented a research program for CircleBlack to build an everlasting Voice of Customer program to support the organization through future phases of growth. With a 3-year shelf life for longevity, the market education materials will provide value to CircleBlack for years to come.

We interviewed customers in tough-to-convert segments and developed relevant marketing campaign materials. One memorable experience was the opportunity to support the company’s expansion into the local government sector.

Optimizely has made a name for itself as the most comprehensive experience optimization solution on the market. Following a Series B fundraise, the company was under pressure to grow aggressively. Storyhackers supported the company’s market expansion plan, conducting research to uncover sources of friction for business growth. Based on this research, we developed an educational content library to help Optimizely sell its solution up-market. We worked closely with Optimizely’s internal team in addition to its customers and network of solutions partners.

Cyclomedia helps local governments and utilities companies monitor their assets, respond to natural disasters, and stay on top of preventative maintenance. For example, a major utilities company used Cyclomedia to improve its vegetation management protocols after being named liable in a lawsuit for a major fire. Cyclomedia can be challenging for some local governments to afford due to budget cuts and other regional financial stressors. However, the technology is critical for supporting climate adaptation. Storyhackers helped Cyclomedia develop a series of product marketing resources to help local government agencies pool resources to pay for the technology.

Kenna Security developed a cutting-edge cybersecurity solution that Cisco acquired in 2021. Three years prior, the company worked with Storyhackers to develop its strategic narrative for its product philosophy and recruiting strategy. The company was growing quickly and needed a way to describe the human interest elements of its brand, while streamlining production costs. We created a series of video stories using a mix of professional and consumer-grade equipment, including iPhones. Below is a one of the videos we produced with excerpts from those stories.
